I found moving with chair in a narrower space more exciting because I found a lot of new ways of incorporating the walls as well as the chair. Using the support of the wall opened up a whole new field of movement e.g. balances. The question I would raise though is if you took away the chair and the walls, would the duet have any purpose or depth? or is our whole duet based around the chair?
